Training for BRC auditors in food packaging – Formación para auditores de la norma BRC para envase alimentario

The present training program has been designed for BRC auditors of a Spanish standardization organization in order to review the general aspects concerning food packaging and, in more detail, those considered in the BRC Global Standard for Packaging. They include aspects such as legality, safety and quality, and the technical aspects of the five groups of materials used in packaging: Glass, Paper and Board, Metals – cans and foil products- Plastics and Wood and other materials. The emphasis of the program has been dedicated to the manufacturing process, so that the auditors have a knowledge that will enable them to successfully assess manufacturers in achieving the standard’s goals. The auditors will also be trained in detecting nonconformities and material defects while performing an audit.

Contents will be developed theoretically complemented with practical cases. The training, training material, materials for practice, exams and marking forms will be prepared, administered, assessed and filed by AINIA.
