Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) Training

The WPO has identified a need to meet industry and stakeholder’s requirements for a course in ‘Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)’. This follows growing global concern about the impact of packaging waste on the environment and the introduction of controls by regulatory bodies all over the world to step up stricter rules to govern management of packaging waste. WPO would like to urge member organisations to promote this online training program in their respective countries and encourage stakeholders to register.

Trainers

Charlotte Neumair is a seasoned expert in packaging sustainability and circularity.

As a former research associate at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna, Charlotte focused on the recyclability and circularity of packaging. She later transitioned into consulting, joining Circular Analytics, where she now leads the Circularity team. In this role, she specializes in evaluating and optimizing packaging sustainability while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, Charlotte has been a Project Manager with 4evergreen for nearly three years, collaborating with over 100 companies to now develop already the third version of the Circularity by Design Guideline for fiber-based packaging.


 

Lina Wimmer is a Senior Consultant at Circular Analytics and specialises in helping companies tackle the complex requirements of sustainable packaging. In her current role, she focuses on advising companies on how to comply with legal requirements and achieve their packaging goals. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology and a Master's degree in Packaging Technology and Sustainability.
